Crash Test Dummies – God Shuffled His Feet Lyrics 18 years ago
It seems to me that the people in this story seem a bit arrogant, and God seems a bit like a dunce. With that backdrop, I think that God is not only answering their specific questions, but much more. I don't take this as a patronizing "you don't need to know, so don't ask" attitude, as much as it is a form of communication on a different level. Not that one is better than the other, just different. In his way, God has answered all their questions and more. Yet, some people fail to understand. And, some even take offense (e.g. the sarcastic "...or a very subtle joke" comment). Recall that we humans see creation through a narrow window, and do not see everything. Yet, we believe we know more than we do. Through that lens our questions sound profound, and God sounds like a dunce. But, God clearly has the greater breadth of understanding. If our window was much larger, we would likely laugh at our own naive questions and our pathetic attempts at understanding God's response.

Queen – Killer Queen Lyrics 18 years ago
I hate to be the one to point out the obvious, but Gunpowder, Gelatin & Dynamite are 3 basic explosives. They are all volatile, dangerous. Exciting! Throw in the Lazer Beam for a good rhyme and more raw energy.

Freddy did confess on several occassions that this song was just about a high society call girl. In particular, I agree with psa09140: Freddy had Christine Keeler in mind when he wrote the song. But, most people on this list are WAY too young to know who she is.

Also: wazojugs -- Margaret Thatcher was not PM when the song was written in 1974. Learn something about history.
