I kinda day dreamed a music video to this. Imagine having a dream where you saw countless versions of yourself. For every moment you tried to be someone else though lies, he will be there. You walk though the crowd, pushing and shoving trying to find yourself only to lose a sense of direction and get lose. In the end you see a younger / teenage version of yourself crying. You reach and grab him only to wake from that dream and find yourself in his place. Thats my interpretation |

xylophone in the background can represent happyneess or joy while the guitar may represent sadness (to me it sounds like someone screaming in pain). Saying that, someone had to sacrifice something, whether its love or life for something else, happyness or satisfaction. Could mean a suicide pact, or a "Romeo and Juliet death" but the lyrics imply somekind of slavery. I get quite depressed when I listen to this. Cult of Luna own. Just the thoughts on my mind.... |
