Talk about a fucking epic! This is the most words I've ever seen in any thrash song...or pretty much any song in general! Hoglan is a god on this song, too.
But anyways, the song is basically about Nostradamus predicting the future, and the death of humanity, and whatnot. Fairly simple. Maybe they could have cut it down some? >. |

This is yet another powerful ballad by Zakk. While other musicians just pump out more and more stale crap, Wylde can inject anything with a bit of adrenaline and let it fly. This song is simple, like most of BLS's repetoire. It's basically about a man who wants to be with a woman just one more time, just so he can remember what it felt like so he live/die in peace. "Take this life" basically means he doesn't care if he's going to die, he got what he wanted all his life and everything else doesn't matter. |

Why has no one commented on this song yet?! It's a great ballad by BLS, it gave me the chillls :l . A little too much synth I think, but I guess it fits in well. The lyrics are simple, but they get the song across well. I love it! |

I think this song is about someone who never took a chance in life and let people push him around. He never "opened his eyes" and thus just lived a boring life, a cog in a cold, lifeless machine. All his dreams just died out and he's living such a routine life that tomorrow just feels like yesterday. |

I'm surprised no one has commented on this one, this is a great Slayer song. Definately one of their most progressive, too. Hanneman's lead in the middle of the song is creepy and haunting, and I honestly think Tom's scream at "All that lie here are remains of death" is one of the best in metal. Or, atleast, my throat feels like its going to explode whenever I try it >. |
