Green Day – F.O.D. Lyrics 17 years ago
I feel the song is about two people that were friends or dating at one time and one of them showed their true colors and the relationship started going bad. Finally, the seconded person just couldn’t take it any more so they split. “Let's nuke the bridge we torched
2000 times before. This time we’ll blast it all to hell.” The seconded person just wants the two faced ass to leave and never come back and they have felt that way for awhile. “I’ve had this burning in my guts now for so long. My belly’s aching now to say.”

A good song to stick to the true American Idiot him self, Gorge W. Bush, the 2nd screw up in the Bush clan. Go Green Day, go.

Green Day – She Lyrics 17 years ago
I just found out that the song is about an old girl friend of Billie’s and the song Sassafras Roots is about the same girl.
PS Diet Punk? Thant’s an insult to American Idiot rock this way. Punk has changed since the Sex Pistols and the Clash. Green Day made punk what it is now. I’ll stop before I get into the topic too much.

Green Day – She Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is really how I feel most of the time. A girl being suppressed by what her parents or others want and by what society is pressuring her to do. The first half of the song is about the suppression and the other half is about her breaking free of her world of imprisonment and taking off the mask she is forced to wear. It is also about hiding pain and suffering “in silence” and not letting others get close to her so she can keep her pain inside. I love this song for those reasons. I can relate to it so much. I was feeling suppressed but not I’m breaking free and I’m letting go of my pain.
