Nice and crunchy song. As for the meaning, My guess is that its about a relationship which took a lot of work to make right. There being highs and lows, im guessing that the whole relationship was a rollercoaster ride, or in this case just a "Ride." It is however hard to let go in the case of this, for he wanted it to last forever, but unfortunately every rollercoaster ride has to end sooner or later. As he states that he wont let her leave, he is still trying to make things work while she is simply giving up. |

| Well after reading over it a few times, I have drawn to interpret as her being a hooker. She describes her experiences as mechanical and with lack of true passion. The lack of emotion is killing her inside and taker her "6 Underground." Her view of the "Overground" is worthless for she has devalued herself and lost all grace by selling herself as an object. I guess it could be a song about materialism, imagery, and primarily being dead inside. | |
