Sabaton – Gott Mit Uns Lyrics 12 years ago
It's about the battle of Breitenfeld, Sweden vs Holy Roman Empire, interesting note is that the Swedes were led by Gustavus Adolfus, who's the subject of the Lion in the North song on the same album

Motörhead – Ace of Spades Lyrics 13 years ago

Sabaton – Carolus Rex Lyrics 13 years ago
This is obviously about Charles XII, a Swedish King. Carolus Rex is the latinized name.

Sabaton – The Lion from the North Lyrics 13 years ago
The song is about Gustav II Adolf, king of Sweden from 1611 to 1632 and the title refers to the nickname he had in those days, which in turn referred to him being the incarnation of the lion on the coat of arms of the House of Vase, the royalty that ruled Sweden.
