This is one of the best songs from the Avett Brothers. I do have a theory that this song is from the point of view of Kyle Fleischmann. A missing person who went missing from a downtown bar in Charlotte a year before this song was put on the album. And yes: Always remember there was nothing worth sharing Like the love that let us share our name Probably one of the best two lines of prose written in music that I can recall. |
