To me, this song is about man's unending infatuation with violence. Every problem in this world is solved through the use of violence and Matt is kinda mocking the human race about it. |

I agree with ShadeCharade, this song IS about politics (the name says it all!). But I think it's about liars and hypocrites in general, whether its a filthy fuckin politician or a slutty girlfriend lying to your face. |

This is an awesome song, Nothingface is definitely one of my favorite bands out there and I can't wait for the next album. I think this song is about a relationship gone bad, and how you try to forget about it by ignoring the memories of it. This is apparent in the chorus where Matt sings "My eyes see everything I want them to, I just don't want them to see you..." I may be wrong, but then again, this is just the way I've translated it. |
