M. Ward – Blake's View Lyrics 17 years ago
Although I don't believe in God or the afterlife, this is still such a beautiful song.

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

TV on the Radio – Dreams Lyrics 19 years ago
This songs seems to speak strongly against current U.S. foreign policy. "She's just like you....why cut a friend" - why act aggresively toward other countries. "Heel-toed to another place" - soldiers marching.

"And maybe I'm the fool but I think we'd find
That we could all be so so kind
If you'd just leave your tread mill powertrip behind
Oh leave your treadmill powertrip behind" - possibly alluding to the need to give negotiations and talks a chance over instant military action. "Treadmill powertrip" conjures images of tanks. The end of the song is full of militaristic and violent images.

Just like to add that I saw these guys live and they were friggin' awesome.
