| Die Aerzte – Himmelblau Lyrics | 17 years ago |

The song seems like it would easily fit in with something like a graduation. This isn't so much of an interpretation, but rather a lazy translation: Der Himmel is blau = The sky's blue. (ie. clear, open, not dark/stormy) You have the rest of your life in front of you. You have millions of possibilities. The world belongs to you. What will you do with it? Tell me. Now you stand here, don't laugh. The world is yours, and the rest of your life is beginning. |

| To me it seems like the narrator(Frank Spinath) is venturing into a completely new and alien experience, and finds it to be a good one. In my own eyes, it seems like he's in love for the first time, bu I'm sure others will perceive it differently. | |
| Assemblage 23 – Ground Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| To me, it's about not worrying about if you mess something up, being content with things, and moving on with your life no matter what happens. | |
| VNV Nation – Endless Skies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Simplicity. Allowing yourself to just relax and view the natural beauties without worrying about the truly pointless things that the world today has made important. | |
| VNV Nation – Legion Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Seems like a fear of how the narrator will be judged and where he will be placed(As afterlife). Whether he has been good enough to reach a heaven(Whatever you may call it) or Hell. | |
| VNV Nation – Entropy Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I can completely connect this to the US-Iraq thing. "The thought that God has taken sides" since it is basically a war of religion. "When does enough become enough? When does "no" have meaning?" Take a poll, see how many people want our troops to be in Iraq. Background noise is the citizens. "Abusing love and, like a child, Inflicting pain upon itself" Since US is really only hurting itself by ruining relations with the middle east |

To me this song is more about the insanity of religion. The light that no-one can see is your intangible god. "What inspires in us this madness That our existence should be defined By a light that we can’t see? " Is like "What made us believe that some intangible thing controls us?" "By our blindness and stupidity We kill everything. " Crusades anyone? |
