I love this song :)... my grandpa used to be in the army as well and now he's passed. We pretty much lost my grandma then too. her memory's still fine but she just doesnt seem the same... but ellsworth is such a good song. i listen to it to go to sleep :D |

well this song could also be directed to pretty much everyone as a motivation. it seems like one of those "don't give up songs". the lyrics always mention "you"... not exactly a someone... maybe "you" in general (as in the listeners) all in all... its an awesome song and these other comments are really good ideas too :D |

i love this song, but i have to admit... it gets quite confusing. at first, you think both "characters" don't exactly want a serious relationship. (for ex. she didn't come there lookin' for love and the cool thing was
neither did I). But then you reach the part of the song where it says... "just like that evenin' she drove away
it'll be burned in my mind for a million years". This meaning he was sad about her leaving and that he'll always remember her. usually, those short, 1 day relationships aren't very memoriable. |

well this ones tricky :P...
so basically, the stereotypical country song is about everything going wrong. Now if you play a country song backwards (in other words, reversing the song) you get it all back and pretty much "live the life". This song (backwards) is obviously a country song being flipped around, resulting in a happy theme. |
