I never thought of looking into, under, behind, and inbetween the lyrics of this song to find the 'real' meaning of this song, as most of you have. But, I can remember my first 'love' using the quote 'I'm never alone/ I'm alone all the time' in an email he sent to me. Shortly after, I had the radio on one night and I woke up suddenly, as those words played into my ear. I have yet to explain the way I felt that night, suddenly alone and cold, yet in awe at its power at the same time. Since then, I have listen to this song on a regular basis, and 'I'm never alone/ I'm alone all the time' is my trademark. And so I thank you, Nathan, for introducing me to a beautiful song, and a wonderful memory. |
