| Mims – This Is Why I'm Hot Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| what makes this song even funnier to me is that I'm almost certain this wanna-be rapper in my school sang this at my school's talent show. oh the irony. | |
| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race (Remix) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

anyone who says this is FOB selling out oviously was never a true fan to begin with b/c the guys in the band have always been into different genres of music, including rap. and while FOB were up-and-coming Pete and Patrick openly liked Kanye West. so this is just another example of them experimenting. and while I don't like most mainstream rap, I can get down with this remix because it appeals to the two opposites of the spectrum. I like the hip hop element of creating beats and I love rock for the lyrics and vocals. so a combination of those two things is great to me. I can understand that fans who are not into rap may not like this remix. and that's too bad. there're are regular FOB songs I'm not to fond of but that doesn't mean I'll stop listening to them. it's just a matter of liking or disliking something. and just because you may dislike this song or this band that isn't a reason to bash them on the internet. that's immature and petty and it really just makes the guilty party look like an idiot. and as for the meaning, same lyrics as the orginial so nothing's changed there. but I do like the addition of Kanye West, despite me thinking Kanye is kinda arrogant. |

COBvsDERHKLOK, sorry about the typo. my mistake. and I don't doubt that you have nothing better to do. and I'm glad you're not offending by me calling you an ass because most people would pitch a fit over the internet like little babies. besides, I think we have a lot more in common than you think or even care to notice. I'm not interested in getting into a flame war with you. and you're right, music nowadays is pretty shitty. and while I can definitely understand why some people, like yourself, do not like FOB nor respect them as musicians, that does not stop me from liking them. and I wont deny that Children of Bodom is a great band with musicianship. it's just not my cup of tea. but I do enjoy metal now and again. I don't know what is about scandanavians and metal but they make for a great musical combination. thanks for the offer but I don't need you to name any better musicians. that's not really something I care all that much about. it just annoys when people have superiority complexes about anything really. the idea that one person likens themself better than anyone else just gets under my skin. so phrases like "good music" rub me the wrong way. but seriously, if you don't like a band just don't bother to talk about them. that's just my two cents but I know you've no reason to take advice from some chick over the internet. anyways later. |

COBvsDETHKLOK, you are an as. a weed in the garden of life, if I must. you say you came to ask a serious question but the only thing I can extract from your comments are insults. how do you expect someone to give you an answer when you don't at all seem to be interested in a response, just self-gratification that the music and bands you listen to are "better" than this one band. get over yourself, you do not listen to "good mudic" and for your information, I have listened to children of bodom and I have no interest in their style of music. yes they can play their intsruments. guess what? the guys in FOB can play their instruments as well. perhaps not to a caliber you find fitting in a music artist but that's not FOB's problem. and there's quite a simple solution-don't listen to FOB songs. if you see their video on TV, change the channel. if you heara song of theirs on the radio, change the station. if you go to a music festival and they are playing, don't bother going. it's really not that difficult of a concept to grasp. don't you have any, I mean ANYTHING, better to do than bash bands you don't like on the internet? no wonder america is in the crapper because people waste their time being stupid instead of being productive to society, the economy and the government. read a book, learn about the world market, watch CNN. for god sakes do something other than be a complete waste of carbon and oxygen. end of rant... and now to the meaning of the song, I think previous posts have pretty muched nailed it. the band is commenting on the state of the "scene" as it stands. they're not necessarily bashing it or supporting, IMO. just vocalizing observations on things have changed and how petty people have become about the "scene". |

| Forever the Sickest Kids – Hey Brittany Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
first off, I love this song and forever the sickest kids is AMAZING! the meaning of the song seems pretty obvious. a girl who's engaged but she's messing around with another guy, and he wants to be with her but doesn't want to be responsible for starting a bunch of drama. and the girl is basically all over the place, doesn't know what she wants so the guy on the side is fed up with it all. oh and great job on the lyrics, it's really hard to distinguish on some parts even when the song is playing at reduced speed. but I'm pretty sure it's "lower it down" not "load it down" besides that everything else makes perfect sense and you've filled in the gaps for me. |

| The Kooks – Naive Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this is song is amazing, just a combination of all the right things. great music, lyrics, vocals, just everything clicks. I think this song means different things to different people and i enjoy reading people's different interpretations. oh, and in the outro the line is supposed to be "hold on to your pride", not "hold on to this kite". that's the version the band put up anyway. | |

| Ludacris – Money Maker Lyrics | 19 years ago |

halfpunkhalfjock, someone seems to have anger management issues...as much as I agree the concept of this song is tasteless, there's no reason to throw an internet temper tantrum; yet you have the right to say whatever you want. the main point of modern rap is to entertain, not to be taken seriously. sadly, most kids don't understand that but that isn't the fault of the musician. they have the right to say what they please just as much as you have the freedom to criticise them. so if there's anyone to criticise it's the fuck-ups who take ass shaking, big rim, pimp glorifying music videos seriously. makes me hang my head in shame. and as for song meaning, it's pretty self explanatory but I do have to say I love the beat. call me a poser but this song is fucking catchy. |

nicely said, elegent_mess. I don't understand why someone would go out of their way to insult something over the internet...seems like some peope really have nothing better to do. well anyway, I pretty much agree with most people's interpretation that the guy is bitter because of the girl either cheating on him or being a tease. this is just a great 'F*ck You!' kind of song for after a bad break up. I think it shows Panic!'s ability to write amazing lyrics and to make even more catchy music. |

| Punchline – The Fake, The Snake, And The Birthday Cake Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| the only song I've heard from the new CD and it's making me want to go buy the CD. awesome song, not sure what it's about bu it sounds to me that it can be about problems within the band or a relationship. like I said, I don't know. | |
| October Fall – Second Chances Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
first off, I think the song is about a couple who've had a rough relationship and the guy wants the girl to know that no matter what he'll always be there waiting for her. secondly, you guys are being pretty petty. a band's style doesn't change because they've become mainstream, it's bound to happen no matter what. it's only that if someone doesn't like that change and the band has become mainstream you can blame it on that, but there really isn't any particular reason. all the bands that have been mentioned, I like or have some kind of musical respect for. no one's saying you gotta love the same bands but treat others and musicians with respect. honestly, this kind of behavior is sad, especially over the internet. and I like patrick's voice on this track too, his voice is a pleasant change from most vocalists in mainstream groups and some unsignes bands as well. woah, my grammar and spelling was so off I must have been drunk or something when I wrote the first comment. |
