| Death Cab for Cutie – Song for Kelly Huckaby Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
To me this song is a reference to the book On The Road by Jack Kerouac. It's about a guy that goes from the East to California all to see his friend, and at one point in the book, they drive all around the country. They each drive half of the way, one sleeps and such, and this is exactly like that scene. I don't know. It's deja vu for my literature experience. |

| Death Cab for Cutie – What Sarah Said Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Whenever I hear this song, I think of my grandma. I watched her die when I was only thirteen, and every lyric, every word of this song reminds me of that day. It's such a great song. Ben captures every ounce of agony and pain and rolls it up into the most perfect song about grief ever written. |

| I agree with jbenjamin38, although I love the original version of the song, the version from The Path is amazing. It needs to be longer too! | |
| The Early November – Uncle Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think that his uncle is actually his father, based on the last five lines of the song. Cause everytime I see him I get so nervous I can't look at his face Grew up calling him uncle That would be great if I didn't have my insides But why must I know everything? That could also be the reason his "father" hates him so much, knowing that he really isn't his son. I love this cd, though. The story is heartbreaking. |

| I like the version on Sincerely better as well. But this song... wow. It's sad, but when he sings it, it's just amazing. | |
