I think it has a totally different meaning than what most of you have suggested. I think it is about a person who is really anti-social and an outcast, and is now in love. Drink down that gin and kerosene, and come spit on bridges with me. Just to keep us warm. Then light a match to leave me be. Light a match to leave, me be. (Said person, really doesn't like people, and wants to burn the bridges between him and society) And I keep my jealousy close, 'cause it's all mine. And if you say this makes you happy, then I'm not the only lying. (Person is in love, and is jealous of how people can so easily reveal their feelings. The second part is saying that even though most people have boyfriends/girlfriends it isn't real love) Keep quiet, nothing comes as easy as you. Can I lay in your bed all day? I'll be your best kept secret and your biggest mistake. The hand behind this pen relives a failure everyday (This is the person's feelings about his loved one. He/she is finally comfortable with someone(love interest) and just wants to "lay in their bed all day"(be with them). "I'll be your best kept secret and your biggest mistake" means that the person thinks they wouldn't be a good lover and it would be a mistake to try and get the love interest to like him/her. "The pen behind this hand relieves a failure everyday" means that he/she has to write their feelings down on paper to keep from going crazy.) So wear me like a locket around your throat. I'll weigh you down; I'll watch you choke. You look so good in blue. You look so good in blue. (Person finally gets the courage to talk to love interest. He/she is saying that they know that they aren't the greatest, and will probably end up weighing them down, but to give him/her a chance anyways.
