" This is a song about my dog....and conspicious sex....but not conspicious sex, WITH your dog."- Nate Love this song, but am I the only one who fell in love with the acoustic version first, and then hated the newer version on Dog Problems? The acoustic version was just so much more fitting I think, and so much more emotional. |

I also took the meaning of this song to be about not fearing death. The chorus alone and one of the last verses makes me believe this song is just about the fear of death. "The thought of death it scares me to death, and i dont know why, i dont know. It's just too much to never wake up. Dont, dont tell me when its coming (no) Dont, dont i just want to see if for myself. Dont breathe, dont make a sound, cause the song wont stop till the tape runs out. When melody has nothing to hold, I'll be the last sound that you hear, as your eyes close. " |

I thought "The Cat Poster" was that classic poster of a cat hanging from a branch that says" HANG IN THERE" And he says "I've read every word you've said, From a poster of a cat," which would be the words "Hang in there" What I'm trying to figure out is, "Four books look across your sofa, I thought your coffee table was more clever then that." |
