I think this song is about a guy who wants to have sex with his girlfriend, but she doesn't (she just wants to lye on the bed). then later in the song she changes her mind and says that they can do it in her brother's car, but then he just wants to go and grab something to eat. |

I watched a documentary the other day, it was about punk, and they talked about patti smith and then there was a scene in which she sang the line "the boy looked at johnny" so maybe the libs have taken that line from there. |
