I love this song, but I am kinda confused about what exactly its saying. It's like a break up song for sure, yet it's upbeat. It's saying he knows the end is near and he's thinking about the simple things that you miss so much. (And shadows blend one last time, save those kisses). I can kind of relate cause in some parts of the song, he's trying to convince her not to go. I think when he says and when all things close all I wish never change these distances, he's saying that maybe their romantic relationship is over, but he they are close and he still wants them to be that way, he doesn't want distance between them. The best lines in this song are... "Your heart gives mine reason to beat now" and "Back to I never knew your name."

I love this song. It's just about realizing that maybe you're not the one for someone that you love so much, and learning to let them go and find what's best for them. But you want them to know that you'll always carry a part of them with you, and hope they'll do the same. I love the line 'I can see you on the top.' It's just saying that you have faith in them and know that they can acheive anything they want to and you know they will turn out to be even more amazing than they already are and they'll overcome all the obstacles in their lives. And you wish you could be there for it. My favorite line is 'I can't hurt you anymore.'

I think that instead of "Lift our face long at last" it's "proved our fates wrong at last" and instead of "Let it rest the more we know" it's "the less we learn the more we know" to correct the corrected lyrics. Anyway...I love this song! I think it describes that bliss of a new relationship...and then all the way threw the end when you have to "cover up, wrap your wrists in gauze, fill your heart with cause" you have to accept it and try to fix any damage and move on. I love the line "You know the better part of me is stolen when ever you go." I think this whole song is about how someone else can become part of you and when you lose them it's like losing a part of yourself.

This is one of the most beautiful and sad songs of all time. The more I think about the song the more I realize that it can really be taken in so many different ways. To me it's a song about (in my case) a boy who tried so hard to make you fall in love with him and set everything up to be perfect and soon as he really had you decided that the relationship isn't worth it and lets you go without even caring. "They're burning the roads they built to lead us to the light." When Chris sing "i'm dying to live" it really is heartbreaking. And it reminds me of the way you feel after a bad breakup, like you're not really alive.

This song to me is totally about Christ. And how through the trails in our life we are taught to put our trust in him and believe that everything that happens contributes to a happy outcome. "If the burden seems to much to bear remember the end will justify the pain it took to get us there." I love the line "today i'll trust you with the confidence of a man who's never known defeat and try my best to just forget that that man isn't me."

This song is amazing, there was a time in my life when I could totally relate to it! It's about the decision to break a relationship that you thought would last. I think this song is all about the relationship and breaking up. I love how it leads into Let It All Out. I think it's about accepting this break up and then instead of thinking about the relationship it's about seeing Christ's hand in all things, and learning that sometimes bad things have to happen in order to get a good result and learning to put your life in Christ's hands.
