if the record industry got a hold of these independent artists, they would twist it and wring every possible penny out of it, and that is why there are such things as independent labels. so the artists have all the say in the art, the distribution, the music videos, and the price of their cd's. dischord cd's are usually $8 or $10. that's a good thing. the music is still accessible, and a band that gains credibility through word of mouth is likely to have much more to say than a band that needs mass marketing to sell records. |

I think this song is actually about a failed attempt at trying to stop drinking. I mean, these lyrics are what it feels like after a while of sobriety and then starting to drink again. |
