I agree with the previous statements about the meaning of this song. I've always liked it, but now I realise just how perfectly I relate to it right now. "Your words cut rather deeply, they're just some other lies... ... You're obsessed with all my secrets, you always make me cry you seem to wanna hurt me no matter what I do" "I'm not trying to avoid you, just don't wanna hear your voice when you call me up so often, I don't really have a choice You're trying like you know me, and wanna be my friend but that's really too late now" Those parts especially. And last of all, "but I've learned to get revenge and I swear you'll experience that some day" Revenge is sweet. And will come in a few hours.. |

Argh this song shits me. And not because of the song per se, because I like it. I just hate the morals behind it. Or lack there of. Yeah I don't need to repeat the meaning I guess, because it's pretty straight forward. But I guess this song means more to me because I am that other girl right now with my ex, and I hate the situation. =/ |

Played live in my city today. I was going to go, but decided on being somewhere else. I heard they were absolutely awesome. This is DEFINITELY my favourite song of theirs. |

To me the song is about someone you just can be with, but intrigues you. And you can't stop thinking about them, no matter how hard you try. She's acting differently around this person, but likes this new person she's become: "But, as I watch the girl unfold before my eyes, I discover//That I like her" Yet, she doesn't feel ready for all these changes, and she doesn't feel ready to let this person she likes, all the way in. She's just not ready: "Would you please get out from under my skin? 'Cause I can't begin this yet" And until she figures things out, and feels she's ready to feel comfortable with this person, she'd just prefer not to see them: "Until it's right, I'm gonna stay my distance And you should go" |

I think the meaning of this song is fairly obvious. Just being madly in love with someone, and in that stage of perfect bliss where every thing seems perfect and magical. Excellent song, by the way. |
