Another love song!!! I think this song can deal with a relationship being over due to complications and both people break it off even though they love each other. They feel that their "life is empty" and also have a feeling of "love and aggression". Now they are in "silence" and tht both of them wants the other one back from the words "save me". The word black means many sad feelings as how one feels when breaking off a relationship. So painting the silence black is a metaphor of a plea for the other one to come back and say that they love them. (Just like a whole Ryan and Marissa thing from The OC). “You take chances all the same” means that one of them has always taken chances and risks during other times, so to taking a chance is in their nature of saying I love you. “Pain comes in stages” means that pain is always part of life and everyone has to deal with it at one point in life. “If we don't make it, nothing changes” means exactly how it is put. If the relationship doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out! If they are not in love, that is how both people feels and agree upon so they move on. But trying to move on when both of them luv each other…too much history!!! This is my interpretation, not stating it is right or not. But analyzing the lyrics can get you to have different scenarios and meanings. *******The beat of the music is awesome!!! |

I cant believe not many ppl know wave...it took me a while to find this song online and the names of their other songs...I remember when it first came out and how they started having good songs one after another...i wonder what happened to them??? | |

I LOVE THIS SONG!!! The first time I heard it was from The OC (of course), but everytime I watched that episode, I just couldnt get tired of it. Capturing the moment!!! When listening or reading the lyrics "Misty mornings and water falls" you can tell its is sad song as someone is crying. But the meaning of the song is truely obvious to everyone, so there is no explaining. But this song ROCKS!!! |
