This is one of the few songs that can move me to tears every time I hear it. My interpration: The singer (Sara, I presume) is remembering a past relationship with someone whom she felt secure with even in the worst of times (symbolized by keeping warm in their clothes during this terrible storm), and she thought this person would always be only hers ("you swore that nothing would ever change the way we were right then"). Only to be hurt and disappointed when said person found someone else. What do you all think? |
