"if I were you" sounds so much like incubus that I can definitely see the comparison. that's who it reminds me of, anyway ... but I have never been one to rag on a band for sounding like someone else, because as a musician, I understand that it's easy to take bits and pieces from other musicians and incorporate them into your sound.
at any rate, this is one of my favorite songs on the new cd, along with "inside of you" and "more than a memory" |

well, actually, I guess you COULD be referring to what sounds like a trumpet flutter-tongue note at the VERY end of the song ... but I doubt that anyone would say that it's "wonderful"

I love singing all of the songs on this cd, but this is probably one of my favorites. I like singing the falsetto in the bridge (did I spell that right?) and none of other notes go up above my range, so I'm happy. |
