Double post, sorry. In "Now let me get done with the grime," it's not "done," it's "down." |

These lyrics are wrong. These may not be entirely correct, but they're closer. I honestly can't count how many times I've listened to this song. For Bizzy: It's not "Nigga Dean," it's "make it gleam." Refers to Mr. Clean line. It's not "In daily recruitin there's a tough law," it's "And daily recruitin, there's a thug born, everyday in the ghetto." Just clarifying, plus it makes more sense. For Krayzie: It's not "Thug spot," it's "Dank spot." To get a shot of burb. It's not "shot of bird," it's "shot of burb." What the hell does "shot of bird" mean? It's not "Up into my bag," it's "Up into my pad." He's gotta get his mask and shells. Oh god, Krayzie's part is all screwed up... Got a nigga callin though, (sounds like "callin do") For the Bone that's Leatherface, ***min and thuggin and cuttin (I can't tell what that word is after Leatherface, sounds like zoomin) Lil' mo harder pullin , ain't nothin (saying it's nothin to pull a trigger) Bitch if you steppin we buckin them guns, it's fucked up Now let me get done with the grime (might be crime) Gotta go purchase a dime Put in the state, nigga double the crime Smokin the reefer to ease my mind Swig some wine, step on the block with rocks But really me servin them dummies, see (clemency? haha) Gotta buck 'em on down if they come back talkin like gimme back me money Thuggin with me killers, need us a liter of liquor but niggaz ain't got shit Wit a sawed off chrome thirty-eight pistol (can't have a "pump" pistol) Now who ready to get it back Nigga like me fiendin for them green leaves But I ain't got no dough Gotta make some money so I'm makin my dummy rocks if I go broke For Layzie: Yeah, Little Lay hey comin in the form of scripture Finna get ya and hit ya wit magic Droppin down licks but I call on my gadgets With an automatic status we spray time to load the glocks But I'm thinkin not There's another evil force tellin me to do what I gotta do So I up my pipe, a nigga dyin tonight And I'm always runnin from the boys in blue Biggie booms on my ass, now whip out the cellular phone Call Bone, what's happenin? Grab artillery, niggaz start packin Cause a motherfucker try to get me in a jackin (car or drug), and I did him Hit him right between the eyes, spot his whites (whites of his eyes) Wanna test a nigga's size and it cost him Nigga fuck around wit the wrong shit Y'all get mo murdered all day all day We can play dat way and I'm on the run I'ma call my boys and bring all the guns Y'all niggaz wanna have a little fun wit number one One, one, Bloody red red rum rum rum rum rum rum Bloody red red rum rum rum rum rum rum Bloody red red rum |

| Pearl Jam – Once Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Great song to rock out to, despite the sick and twisted background. As to why this is before "Alive" on the album if the Mamasan Trilogy is legit, you don't think it could be him trying to explain his actions before his execution ("Footsteps")? | |
| Stone Temple Pilots – Sex Type Thing Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| IMO: This song was a comment on how rape was viewed. Some said that it was the victim's fault for dressing provocatively, and I think this song was written this way just to show how wrong that type of thinking was. How this guy, in a frenzy of lust, is trying to justify his actions or those to come by just repeating what they were saying. "You wouldn't want me have to hurt you too?" Pretty powerful, right up there with "Polly." | |
| Gin Blossoms – Hey Jealousy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Gin Blossoms. Smashing Pumpkins. STP. Pearl Jam. Nirvana. Oasis. REM. Anyone else miss those days where radio was great to listen to? It's just progressively sucked since those days. Long live the 90's. |

| Deftones – Riviere Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Awesome, awesome awesome song. I was reading these lyrics, and I thought they were wrong. Grabbing the cd case, they are... from the CD booklet... * She haunts the roads. She waits for a new face. Her arms red and injured she wants to rest, She can't till we have faced. I've cut your armies down and torn your heart. You wait, I wait, Outside, awake. I've cut your armies down and torn your heart. You wait, I wait, Outside, awake. (Sounds like something, but isn't in the booklet) She haunts the roads She waits for a new face. * |

| The Birthday Massacre – Happy Birthday Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Who cares, this song is like auditory heroin. Seriously, I heard this song looking for something along the lines of MDMFK, and I was shocked to find this band. The lyrics and her voice is almost hypnotic. The tunes are catchy, and it has the perfect balance of real instruments and electronic ones. PS- Thank god she doesn't scream... that's why I can't stand Cradle of Filth. |

| Foo Fighters – My Hero Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Foo Fighters > Nirvana Anyways, the thought of this song just being about someone who becomes a hero from just being an average joe doing his job or trying to help someone out makes this song so much better than saying it's about Cobain. |

| Slayer – Love To Hate Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Hate. Hate and anger. And bloodlust. Awesome song when I want to feel evil. I used to listen to this before my football games... made it easy to go out there and rip someone's face off. | |
| God Lives Underwater – From Your Mouth Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's about a guy who's hearing that his friend's spreading lies about him. He's confronting the guy, asking him "why are you friendly to my face?" He doesn't want to think his friend's talking trash on him. "I don't wanna believe it, until I hear it from your mouth." | |
| Revis – Caught In The Rain Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's about a person feeling really down, but they finally meet someone that make them feel, and they'll do anything to keep that person. | |
| Boston – More Than A Feeling Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Shows how powerful music is over someone and their memories. Whenever this guy hears music from earlier in his life, he reminisces, but then thinks about his old girlfriend. It's kinda sad, because I know how the guy feels. | |
| MDFMK – Hydroelectric Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think everyone has experienced the down-and-dirty sex in a serious relationship... you know, the times where you both just go wild. This song, to me, describes the moments leading up to, during, and right after the orgasm. Hot stuff. | |
| The Buzzhorn – Ordinary Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| To me, this song is about a person or group of people becoming famous, and how everything changes. You spend your whole life wanting to be famous, but when you get there, you realize how much you miss your old, simple life. Everyone's changed from caring about you to only caring about your money and fame, and this song is about the realization of how the life of a celebrity can be. | |
| Tom Petty – Mary Jane's Last Dance Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Yes. Dani California is a rip-off of this song. The notes are the same, the lyrics are incredibly similar. There's no denying it. Good job RHCP. Way to rip-off a song from an artist greater than you. | |
| Stone Sour – Through Glass Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think you guys are crazy. This is about how Hollywood is so fake? Maybe so, but I think it's much deeper than that. To me, reminds me when I was having issues with my alcoholism. I would get so drunk just to forget. Just to be numb. And I remember, just staring at people, my head on the table, staring through the empty glass. I didn't know how long I had been like that, but it really felt like forever. And things start to change meaning... A glance of worry can seem like a condescending stare, like you're worthless. It twists your perception of reality. "An epidemic of the mannequins" could be people telling someone that they have a problem... they all sound the same, with that same look on their face. You need to understand that alcoholism, like any addiction to a drug, can alter your perception of reality. Things that you say "from the heart" were never there from the start, because you were so wasted you didn't know what you were saying. Like I said, this is what it sounds like to me, having gone through a similar situation as the writer. |

| Kid Rock – Only God Knows Why Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I hate Kid Rock. Sorry. But this is probably the only song I like by him. In fact, it's one of my favorite songs over most bands/groups/etc. that I prefer. "Only God knows why" these things happen. Why people are forced to live through hardships. This song is simply a reminder that, no matter how hard you search for an answer in your life, only God knows why. Take what happens to you, and survive. "Keep walking with my head held high, I'll keep moving on and only God knows why." | |
