I'm not sure what the song is about, but I know how it was written! Okay so this i show it goes. One day, Randy and his band were one the road, going from Winnipeg (my hometown too) to New Orleans. And they were on the road, and they boxed in on the highway, so that is when there's a semi-truck in front and in behind you, and you can't get out. (its very scary) well I can't remember what happened, but I think someone got angry and the semi driver said "LET IT RIDE" and the song was born.

TCOB and this song aren't the only hits, Let It Ride was big too. Besides, these songs are still played alot, even 30 years later. You can't just place them in the catergory of being one hit wonders, its so insulting, especially with the talent of Randy Bachman, who in fact is from Winnipeg where I am from. Yes, i know awesomeo!

I don't think this song is just solely about the dominion of white people over black. I think theres alot more than that. I don't want to get into to it because i don't want to be accused of being racist. So i'll just leave it at that.

Eagles – Take It Easy Lyrics

I live in the country and to get home I take this long highway that one either side of the road is just farmers fields, and maybe one lonley gas station 7 miles before the town. And when it rains the fields are green and the sky is thick, and when its sunny the sun hits your arm and its really comfortable. But, when I drive home this is the perfect song, no matter what the weather, it just feels like after a hard day, it preserves your humanity, and gives you a sense of self. I love, its the PERFECT road trip song! Anyways, I think the song is just basically not getting to serious, and staying grounded. Being humble, not starting conflict, and embrassing what you have, even if its not enough. It's hard to find songs like this.

Billy Idol – White Wedding Lyrics

I think the song is about a young girl, possibly a teenager, who meets a boy, that's she's really in love (or lusting for) and he's everything to her. He's her "superman". And maybe this girl came from a pretty bad home, or is poor, and he's her ticket out. Her salvation. However, while their wrap up in their love affair she gets pregnant and the fairy tale ends. Now, they are going to have a "shot gun" wedding. I'm not sure who's the narrator in this song (billy idoL), and what his prespective is. I don't think the meaning is too deep though, so don't look too hard. That was mean. Alright...yes that's what I think. :D

Bad Company – Burnin' Sky Lyrics

I love this! It defiantly one of my favourite Bad Company songs, it has such an edge and just like KLR65 said, "a sexy feel". It's great listening when your in your car driving down the highway, window open, sun in your face, i love it! I also like its about a guy who killed his girlfriends lover. Or possibly they broke up and he killed her new boyfriend. It's not clear. But anyways, he killed the man and now is in jail because of his love for her. I like the imagery in the chorus with all that the sky is burning stuff. It relates the world ending and evil taking over to this guys emotions and his inner feelings. GREAT BAND one of my FAV'S! :)
