As far as I can tell from this song he is reflecting on poisoning his twin children..Mathew and Maria. "God grant you one wish to turn back the time Correct and create, making sense of . . ." is basically Coheed thinking that if he could he would turn back time and not listen to Mayo then none of this would happen. "me and my star" means the monstar virus that he has after which he proceeds to poison his children and bids them goodnight..... The funny thing about Coheed and Cambria songs is that not just one character is subjected within them. In keeping secrets of silent earth 3 you have Jesse, possibly Claudio, Wilhelm Ryan and Mayo Deftinwolf. Possibly also a mage too "the truth be told the child was born". If you think along those lines as to who could be saying what then it's easier to get the songs. |

| The whole Coheed and Cambria story is based on an event in claudio's life where his father killed his brothers and sister when he lost his mind. He's exaggerated it in order to make it more interesting to people. This song represents when Coheed poisoned the twins (one boy one girl) and has to watch them die. the last thing he says before he walks out the room is "Maria my star, Matthew goodnight" hence the chorus lyrics. After this he has to kill Josie.
