Part of it makes me think he's a rubbish boyfriend ("i'm never there for you") and can't understand why she stays with him (".. why I am lying here with you every night?"). The second bit makes me thing that she finally leaves or whatever, but he still does love her. So its sorta "I was a never there for you, but I'm still sad you're gone.". |
