1. I hear no "the" in the so-called "the things I still lack" 2. I thought it would be nice to have one that *IS* 100% correct. So people don't have to read comments afterwards that say "oops I meant 'into', and "it's 'She's"... and they can just easily read through the whole thing. 3. The lyrics have changed so much with the demo and different live versions, those lyrics could be wrong on TDAGARIM. If you listen to the final version on myspace, the way I posted it is right. 4. Not related to what any of you said.. but does this song remind anyone else of Nirvana? haha |

ok at least i see you just changed it to "she's"... but the song is on their myspace now. so i'm 99% sure that THAT is the final one. I submitted this under "Sowing Season" ..again.. that's what they have NOW on their myspace, so I'm 98% sure that's gona be the final title. i'm not so sure if the first two people really seem to see the religious undertones (or however you wana say it) in this song. so when she says "man" it means man-kind... like.. not just males.. kinda how in the Bible, many times it just says "men" when it means "humans". a lot of this seems like she's talking about how people try to say they're right with God or think they are, when they aren't.. |

for one it's "somethings", not "something's".. and "'Cause", not "Cause". The "forget me.." "have fun.." part.. I think is like he's saying that she is so easily forgetting him and more interested in being lush.. and he's still saying "i don't think that you know..." as in she's forgetting what they could be so easily and not realizing what she's missing. so I don't think at the end he's saying "ok just forget it, i give up" but yeah it could be that he's saying "you're missing out, oh well, go have fun and don't worry about me. i can forget you so forget me, it's a simple thing to do" the first way makes more sense to me though.. and i guess you can take it however you want. |

I never even caught the whole bead part before! I think that maybe after reading what that person said.. maybe there's that girl who is desperate for attention. So many people around her with the Mardi Gras craziness are too.. but the wrong kind, instead of conversation.. just beads. And while there are so many other ppl begging for attention, she just catches his eye bc I guess he can see a desire for deeper attention it her, which she is hesitant to give. And she laughs about her behavior, but it makes him feel bad.. He also sees himself in her, because he also craves attention in ways, which hurts even more.. he feels sorry for her and wants to pray for her because she's probably not getting any real quality attention and is probably hurt inside because of it. And "showing more"... isn't about being hesitant to flash.. I think it's being hesitant to show what's inside her heart and open up to people.. bc "you'll find more than beads". I'm not sure what the whole "two should become one" thing is about.. That part kinda disturbs me.. but yeah I'm sure it's not supposed to be dirty. I hope that makes sense and is pretty much right. :oP plus: let me just redo this kinda...
