It's a club song, a dance song. It doesnt matter if she can sing or not... and while I love her clothes, we all know she's no Alicia Keys. But her music is for dancing purposes only. If it has a club beat... then it;s kosher. It has a club beat, so I'll dance and sing to it when it comes on, but it gives you headache if you listen to it too many times in a row |

It's that magnetic attraction, that feeling you get when you see someone across the room. She's saying that even though she's with her man, she's feeling him and can;t fight her desire for him. This is one of my fav. Alicia Keys songs, just because she pours her soul into her music and is so real. Ima marry Alicia Keys, mark my word |

| City High – 15 Will Get You 20 Lyrics

It's not that difficult. I'm Puerto Rican and black, and there are virtually no white people in my neighborhood (I live in Prince George's County, MD, next to DC) and the teen males and females (but especially females) tend to look much much older than they really are. I'm only 16, and I've gotten into clubs around here with no ID, said that I was as old as 22 and gotten away with it. Most black females that I know are 15, looking 20, and alot of males that I know assume that if you look or act a certain age, you are. The song is just warning people that, yeah, he or she might look older, and you might think you'll never get caught, but if you do, you will get jail time. My friend's ex-boyfriend is 26 and got arrested and kicked out of the Navy for having sex with her because she ended up being pregnant. He has 9 years in jail. City High just wants 2 warn others... always ask 4 ID |

| City High – What Would You Do Lyrics

Aight, first, watch the video (which is hard 2 find online) but i found it @ http://www.mp3.com/albums/469342/summary.html At the beginning of the video, the members of City High are arguing about whether Lonnie (the stripper) is a hoe or not. The female member is defending her, saying "what would you do" if placed in the same situation. The girl was a teen runaway because her father raped her... and runaways (duh) don't go to school...so she might not have a good enough education to have a real 9-5 job. Her mother had to be elsewhere if her father was raping her and her sibling, or might not have cared. The male member rapping at the end is saying that she might be having difficulties, and she might have a son with a drug abusing father that's in jail, but she doesn't have to lower her standards and morals to support her and her baby. Then he says that his mother had to struggle to raise him too... so she doesn't really have an excuse to live her life the way she is... no matter how much she's been through. And the lyrics are "somewhere smoking rock now"... meaning that the baby's daddy does drugs, not "we're smoking rock now".... But this is one of my favorite songs ever |
