Led Zeppelin – Swan Song Lyrics 17 years ago
true that on fall of day. this song, as an instrumental, is average at best. it's good and heavy and laden with strong acoustics, and it is very symbolic of the swan's song. it's pretty good.

Led Zeppelin – White Summer Lyrics 18 years ago
you guys are correct, the song is on the dvd, and on the box set version of coda. sounds like it is on the crop circle collection too. i have a version off of the destroyer, which is a bootleg from the 1997 tour in Cleveland. I completely love this song, its quite amazing. the percussion effects of bonzo really add to it. the sections all go together amazingly well. most people have not heard this song, but i think that anyone who has the seven minutes to spend on it will love it.

my friend's dad said that led zeppelin was offended at being called satanic.
and back then, the media tried to pin all bands to stanism
they werent

Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics 19 years ago
Oh, and another thing. If they are so satanic why would in the song, In My Time of Dying, woudl they say Jesus and talk good about him and getting into heaven?
I am far from a stanist, im am a Christian, but it would be my logical thought that a stanic person, would not like to meet Jesus, i would not want oto go to hell, so i wouldnt say so. Hence, a stanic person wouldnt want to get into Heaven.
Makes sence to me

Led Zeppelin – Bonzo's Montreux Lyrics 19 years ago
Skynrd is ok, but I wouldn’t say great. They are basically a household name, just for Sweet Home Alabama. I prefer Led Zeppelin, a band that didn’t have a plane crash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, who own everyone, and blink-182, even though they broke up, and radioledjango, you are probably talking about Black Betty
Yea Skynrd might do something for you, but id say they don’t for most people

Insane Clown Posse – Behind the Paint Lyrics 19 years ago
I think that ICP has some semi-good lines. But how can you listen to a band that talks about killing so real and such bad tings. I mean, I like T.I. and Limp Bizkit and some other stuff (Mainly punk and Rock) so ICP doesn’t make sense to me, I just think that they are outrageous and so demonic.
But how could you put any store in what they say?
In this song they say that they were outcasts, if they weren’t so f'd up right now, then maybe we'd feel sorry for them. But plenty of poor welfare kids have grown up and not turned out like this (big majority id say)
But if you want to listen to them I think your crazy, but im not hear to judge.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Wet Sand Lyrics 19 years ago
I heard this song and, until I looked at the lyrics, I swear it said “I’d like to think that we did it for the better of (our time)
I know it doesn’t
This is about how he is from a different place, or has a different background than his lover, or here the take-out bride

Dang people type your stuff in and then run it through Word, and do a spell check! Makes it a Lot easier to read. Hah

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Hard to Concentrate Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is about a marriage proposal and how is ready to spend his life new life with someone, as in his life after being in drug rehab so much.
Ahh I liked other songs on Stadium Arcadium, but I never paid much attention to this one until I heard it, and it is now my favorite song, and it should be made into a video

Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics 19 years ago
I think that Led Zeppelin is talking about hope. I do not think that they are Satanic, or I just hope they are not. I have heard things that could point them in that direction, ( Page living in Crowley house, and someone claiming to be the beast, and also on Battle of Evermore ( I know that this is a STW board and not a BOE) they say prince of darkness and in Houses of the Holy say Satin several time) , but in other signs that could make then almost Christina (Plant claming to be God, Stairway to Heaven, and among other things, a Stairway to Heaven is mentioned in Genesis 28 verse 12. "He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And there above it stood the Lord.")
I think that LZ (as with most Bands) were nothing. They had no religion. They didn’t care. They were rich as hell and larger than life, and didn’t care how. They might have secretly worshiped the devil, or possibly prayed to God in Heaven above every night. But they talked about what ever could get them more money.
I think that this song talks about hope, but also that if you aren’t living right, you can change. But it also is clear that if you don’t worship god, you will go to hell. Or if you try to buy the stairway to heaven, that isn’t enough to get into heaven.
Overall I think that this is a good song.
As for back masking, I have seen a site that claims that the whole song is back masked, ending with, who owns this world underground, Sweet Israel.
This is pure shit
They didn’t back mask this
Anyone can sit down, listen to a song in reverse, and make up lyrics, then let someone listen to it, while looking at the lyrics, and they believe. True back masking would make it to where you heard it clearly, and the band (Here Led Zeppelin) wouldn’t deny it if it were true.
