I think it's about coke addiction. 'you think you're so strong, but there ain't no stopping and there's nothing you can do about it'... the feeling of invincibility that comes with a coke high, except the irony is that you're actually extremely weak because you're so out of control. A red hot man meets a white hot lady... I figure the white hot lady is a reference to cocaine. Think about it... most of it fits without much of a stretch at all. |

This is such the perfect picture of almost every e experience I've had. First, there's the period of waiting for it to kick in... I almost ALWAYS get impatient and think the pill is shit. Then there's the period when you're coming up too fast for your brain to adjust to, and you get almost nervous and uncomfortable and anxious. Then, there's bliss. They capture the slight grittiness of the e scene without losing its wonder. |

This song is about a crisis of faith. Well I guess you left me with some feathers in my hand Did it make it any easier to leave me where I stand ----God left us so long ago with the promise of salvation,l but that doesn't make it easier to be faithful and believing every day... did he think it would? All my sins... | To me, this makes me think of my years in universities. We're growing,learning about ourselves. We're scared of the future, no matter how good it might be. We cling to alcohol, drugs and relationships to try to keep us in the easy place where we are. We know that we can't go on forever living the lifestyle that we are, but at the same time we never want to let go. I think this actually a really sad song. | |

To me, its about a person that is so hung up on one aspect of life that he is totally oblivious to everything else going on around him. He was so fixated on his wish for love from one person, he didn't even notice that he was surrounded by love from so many different sides. If you close your mind off to different possibilities, then you've limited yourself to one scenario. |

| Ok, to me this song is about death. in the 'is this the real life" the person is living in denial and a fantasy world, bu it all comes crashing down. in the Mama just killed a man section, i think it is refering to himself. i see it as sort of a suicide note. Then in the next section he is being judged by God and the angels. Then he is survivng the after life (hell) ("so you think you can love me and leave me to die" he's talking to god) and then at the end its just pure sorrow, he realizes that he hasn't escaped anything. | |

| This was our grad choir song, and althouugh no untrained singers should EVER attempt it again, it has a lot of meaning for us graduates. The truths we learned, the times we cried and the bridges we burned all make us the people who we have become today. Yes it's soppy, yes if you listen to it too much you will go crazy, but it's a cute song. | |

This is our grad song this year, and I think that it's kind of a cheesy choice. Some of the sentiments ring true Here's to goodbye Tomorrow's gonna come too soon But for the most part I just think "one night stand" Oh well, at least it is "photograph" b/c then I'd be one angry little graduate! |
