There is very subtle repeating sound hidden in this song that becomes very apparent in a more acute altered state. First time I heard it I was very perplexed as to why there was no one in the hall of my dorm making that noise, and that it stopped when I paused the track. Then the lyric "It's just a sound going through your head" came and I was dumbfounded at how well the effect worked. Those Flaming Lips sure got me! |
