The way I look at is that it's about somebody who is gay and came out to a friend, and now the friend hates him. Not saying that's what it IS about, but I interpret it that way. |

This song is a touching tribute to a lost friend. It helped me get through some hard times a few months ago. A friend from school got hit by a drunk driver. Very sad what happened. |

It's a sad song, actually made my tear up a little once, but it rocks. It reminds me of "One" by Metallica lyrically. It's about how someone is suffering and they won't pull the plug. |

Yeah, what you see is what you get.
And please, don't make assumptions about the band members themselves or their fans. Say whatever you want about the music itself, but the members are human. They don't take their lyrics seriously. The music is brutal, so the lyrics must be suitably brutal.
Now, I happen to like a bit of everything. I like death metal, thrash metal. rock... the sky's the limit.
This song is about maggots eating a corpse after death. The song just came on now, in fact. \m/ |

OK, we all know what the song's about... but This has never been brought up before. A bit after the 9:20 mark, it sounds like JD or somebody whispered something like "They're all dead." Anyone ever notice this? |

This song is talking about religious people who force their beliefs down poeples' throats, and they're playing God. It has a good point. |
