maybe i should have been less vague by deep meaning.
i could never actually make out all the lyrics after the part where he meets the fortune teller. by following the music, i always thought the song was about him meeting a shady fortune teller and then he goes into her tent and when she goes to tell his fortune he has some out-of-body experience that he can't escape from, and finally at the end the fortune teller rescues him. and he goes home.
that's what i got from it somehow. |

Haha I kind of want to agree with With_Teeth but I really like #12. This song is so awesome too.
But I mean, if you're just screaming as hard and loud as possible do the lyrics really matter? I've been listening to them forever and I've never really focused on them, they still add effect regardless of knowing the meaning or not. |

I'm not exactly sure what he's trying to say. His lyrics are very complex, and he has a unique style of taking one thing, but meaning the exact opposite. This song, specifically, features this many times.
For example, 'I ain't 2 hard 2 beg'. I think this line is one of the most driving forces of the entire song. When he comes back to say, 'Please, please, please.' It's like, he says one thing, but comes back and you find out it's not exactly what he meant. It's literally amazing, compelling... EVERYTHING you can ask for in a song. |
