Avenged Sevenfold – Danger Line Lyrics 15 years ago
tombradyowns, i think theres a lot in this album that relates to the rev, but i think that particular stanza reflects the regret we feel when we willingly sacrifice the time away from our families.

The Who – Baba O'Riley Lyrics 18 years ago
Haha, on the plane ride back from duty this song was on the list for the personal listening device in the arm rest. EVERY Marine on that plane tuned it to that and we sang it word for word three times. I'd like this to go on record that 13 of them cried their eyes off.

They played it classicaly, you can hear it on project playlist. Just spend the time looking for it. Bless the troops. Whether you support the war or dont, at least keep us in your hearts.

Creedence Clearwater Revival – I Heard It Through the Grapevine (Marvin Gaye cover) Lyrics 19 years ago
Hahaha. I loved this song since I was a kid. I remember dancing the the California Raisins commercial everytime it came on. But before me and my buddies got back from Iraq I remember one of them basting it in the Humvee when passing through Al Kut and we all felt better haha. Lyrics are bit sad but the melody CCR puts out really picks your spirits up.

Its almost scary how I well I relate to this album throught my life, definetly a feeling I bet most americans feel when they listen to, or read the lyrics of these songs. Most definetly one the most powerful lyrics

Trivium – The Storm Lyrics 19 years ago
To me, the lyrics are about the very beginning of the afterlife. Then someone who just went through a sad and horrible life is now looking at heaven yet that person is denied entry and has hell's demons sicked on them they curse whoever didn't open the gates of heaven for them. Definetly a dark yet awesome song and it's plain to see you ever wrote this is pissed at god and the human race.

Margot & the Nuclear So and So's – Bookworm Lyrics 19 years ago
To me, this song in the beginning is about an unwanted child and turns out that he/she screwed up their life in their oppinion and wants to be with their mother. Then goes to the birth in which the mother regrets ever getting pregnant. And the want to ride the "F-Train" the f-train is difficult to get on because it is the most used train in New York. The last paragraph is just restating the beginning that the unwanted child wants to be there for the mother like she wasn't there for him/her, then the last three verses tell what the artist thinks of a household and how it's easy to loose your idea of how to live.

Chimaira – Taste My... Lyrics 19 years ago
Wow, this song is powerful. My guessing is that he is running away from someone who cause him tons of pain and is wishing to be every mile away from them, or to be cut down in a hail of gun fire, never wanting to see them again living, or dead. A great song with a badass ending, definetly one of my favs.

Athlete – Twenty Four Hours Lyrics 19 years ago
Hahahaha, so far every song lyric I looked up in the category of brit-pop has at least one comment about a boy and girl or vice versa. No pun against you or anything Dragic but I just think it's so ironic.

Cheers,

Sounds like this is a song to a child or someone very close to him.

I feel like I relate well to this song. I moved to a dead-end town, just about hate everyone here, I blame someone inparticular for living here (seriously, Alaskans are a bunch of posers) and I miss somone very much and wish to be where they are. All in all, great FRICKEN song, I love the vocal and guitar work. They really made something epic here.

Cheers,
Tom
