Damn. I cannot stop listening to this song. The rest of the album sits and waits while "Bones" keeps getting repeated!
Someone make me stop already. |

I actually liked it with the synth horns. This song and "When You Were Young" are really the only songs on Sam's Town that I like so far. I've got to listen to the album more... but nothing else has really stood out to me. |

This song always gives me chills... it's an awesome way to end the album. The lyrics seem sad, but in a thoughful, reflective way (again, a great final track on the album). It's kind of like, yea, life's tough, but what would it be like if we hadn't tried to live at all? That's the feeling I get, both from the lyrics and the sound of the guitar riff. It's so calming and... ahhh... I love this song. |

Lyrically, this is the best song off of Before The Blackout. It's a great reflection on religion, death, and wondering about the meaning of it all. An awesome song to end an awesome album. |

I love this song, it just might be my favorite off of Before The Blackout.
Basically, it's about standing up for your rights in society. |

Awesome song. Easy to play too (but all of Insomniac is... it's a fun album to listen to because if you know anything about guitar you can pick up the songs in a few listens). |

....amazing. And it's even more amazing LIVE.
You just can't beat seeing The Network and Green Day (well they're basically 2 sides of the same band) perform live at the Wiltern. That's right people. I was there. |

Yup. The lyrics are quite literal.
I dunno how many guitarists are on here... but this is a fun song to play... especially as a beginner. It's REALLY easy. |

gnr-acdc-eagles:
This song does not mock America, it rather expresses the confusion of the soldiers who fought in Vietnam.
When Springsteen repeats "Born in the USA" it seems as if the song's protagonist is trying to come to terms with his loss of innocence, and is longing for the opprotunity he once had before the war. |
