| Still Remains – Dancing with the Enemy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this is a song about two people who had a friendship that ended bitterly. The protagonist in this song is now trying to reunite with the other person to show them what they shared. | |
| Trivium – Ignition Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Nevermind. The album has sort of grown on me over the past year. Seeing them in concert renewed my faith in them since they put on a great live show, but I still say Ascendancy was a better album. | |
| August Burns Red – Black Sheep Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I might be wrong, but I think this song is targeted at someone who only cares about himself and his philosophy that he is the only person that matters. The line "pain must exist in order for healing to survive. Neither one will ever serve their purpose alone" is saying that life can't always be one way. You gain some, you lose some. You have to compromise sometimes because life isn't a one-way road. But this person has been so in love with his belief and narcissism that it's too late and everyone has already given up on him. |

| Haste the Day – Long Way Down Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I love Haste the Day, but I listened to the original version of this song. It sounds like the Goo Goo Dolls version has a lot more emotion put into it. This is a good cover, but the original's still better. | |
| August Burns Red – The Balance Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think this song is about society as a whole silencing those who have different opinions than they do. The medicine symbolizes forced values and ideas. "All these ideas keep swimming, running through your head. Quick, we'll drown them with this fix." That's basically saying having ideas is a bad thing, so we'll wash them out for you. "Your opinions are a thing of the past, so tilt your head back and swallow this." Again, this is saying that you're not allowed to think on your own anymore, so you have to be one of us. |

| Incubus – Dig Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Amazing song. It's basically saying to a friend "as long as we have each other, we'll be okay. But if I change, I'll need you to turn me back to the person I used to be because I'll do the same for you." |

| All That Remains – Focus Shall Not Fail Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
You guys are all idiots. Just about all of you are stereotypical dickheads who know nothing. Let's get this straight. All That Remains is metalcore. In Flames is melodic death metal. Avenged Sevenfold is currently hard rock. Atreyu is metalcore whether you like it or not. None of those bands are better than each other, but I can say that In Flames has been a huge influence for metalcore bands such as In Flames. You people are all impossible. You call a band "shitty" or "trendy" when people start listening to them. So here's a solution, don't listen to them. Because as far as I'm concerned, you're saying that these bands suck because they have fans. That means if you listen to a band, you're making them suck. Nice logic you people have, huh? As for the meaning of the song. It's basically about setting sights on whatever you want. Then doing everything to get it. Let nothing get in your way. The only thing that is right is what you think is right. |

| In Flames – Borders and Shading Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I just noticed this, but "Borders and Shading" is one of the Format options in Microsoft Word. >.> | |
| Killswitch Engage – My Curse Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Go out and buy the album instead of stealing music. This is my curse (We're longing) This is my curse (Time) This is my curse (The yearning) This is my curse And the other This is my curse (The wanting) This is my curse (Time) This is my curse (The needing) From the booklet for the album. |

| Killswitch Engage – Break the Silence Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Yeah, that's kind of what it's saying. It's about how we live life like nothing's happening in the world. And it's asking how everything will be in the end when nobody says anything, or "breaks the silence" | |
| Killswitch Engage – Eye of the Storm Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is pretty much telling someone that you will always be there to pick them up when they fall, that you'll always be there for them no matter what. | |
| Trivium – Ignition Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Blah, new Trivium. I don't like any of it, the music is alright, but the lyrics are just horrendous. Only thing I can do this is blame myself for buying the next album and hope they go in the right direction next time. As for the meaning of the, song it's pretty much about war. Not too hard to figure out. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – I Won't See You Tonight, Pt. 2 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The approach to this was a lot like Pantera's Suicide Note part 1 and 2, slower ballad followed by a powerful, heavier song. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Remenissions Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The solo near the 3/4 part of this song is amazing. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Warmness On The Soul Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Beautiful song. It's about finding someone so amazing that you dedicate your life to them. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Blinded In Chains Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Anyone else think this song's got an amazing bass solo? | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Sidewinder Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| who the hell are you to tell us we aren't fans. You're the one who isn't a fan. Because Brian haner IS Synyster Gates, he's Brian haner Jr. his dad is Brian Haner Sr. On the CD, Synyster gates goes by Synyster Gates and only that alias. All fo the other work he did was put under that name. On the last page, it said "Acoustic Solo Left by Brian Haner" and on his website, Haner Sr. himself said that he did the work on the song, along with most of the acoustic work. | |
