| Train – Meet Virginia Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I love, love, love this song. I don't think that "Virginia" is real. I think the lyricist dreamt up the Perfect Girl for him, and made a song about what his Dream Girl would be: "Meet Virginia, I can't wait to..." That's where my theory comes from. The line 'I don't really wanna be the queen', always gets me. ;) |

This song is beautiful. I love it, and I'm sure it inspires a lot of people who know others who suffer from disabilites, or suffer from them themselves. It shows how much one person can change your perpsective on the world, and has a truly lovely meaning. And greenherb? It does have a deeper meaning, whether you agree with it or not. |

Yeah. Those are the correct lyrics. Also, the original song (before the CD) was better. |

| Armor for Sleep – The Wanderers Guild Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| Greeley Estates – Life Is A Garden Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Ahh, I love love love this song. I think its about just ignoring what people are saying, and letting go of all the shit they've said about you before. Be who you want to be not what they think you should. Oh wow, yeah great song, great band, I'm surpised there's not more comments. |

| Houston Calls – Bob and Bonnie Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I love this song, its one of the only songs that tells a love story that doesn't end in heartbreak. Isn't that hard to believe. | |
| Single File – My Best Defense Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It's a death told from the end, first the funeral- his own funeral that his ghost or whatever is at.. "The stars are out/ Scattered dimples in a cloudless sky/And I remember all the flashing lights and how they lit your lifeless eyes" ^ This is confusing, maybe he was looking back at him self after he was dead, or maybe another friend died as well. The chorus is him saying sorry, he didn't want to cause his family and friends pain. Maybe he feels responsible for someone elses death too, thats never really clear. The part about the zip ties and fiber, he's getting taken to the hospital and is in kind of a daze. Then next you see the cause of it, it could be suicide but then maybe not. So see, its told like it was rewound, the funeral, the hospital, the cause. Loved it... |

| This Day & Age – History is Falling for Science Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Yeah, yourthestarxo your right (whoa we have very alike screennames lol). I think in the beginning he's pretty much saying that she doesn't come first, but he does care about her. "I've found the perfect place to hide, and someday will never come if we simply say our goodbyes." I think that's saying that they should get out of the relationship before they get attached. The chorus is brilliant, especially "so cut the ropes lets give them another chance", what an awesome way to say lets start over. The rest I think is just saying, they lied (pretended) and they're sorry, they both need to learn how to trust again. I love love love love love this song, and the opening line of the chorus. :] |

| This Day & Age – Long Walk Home Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I love This Day and Age, but there lyrics never really make much sense to me. :] I think the guy wants another chance, but they both have personal demons, he just wants to give it a try, he doesn't want to come out of the relationship wondering what could have been. As for the 'We've come to far just to set our eyes on a new star' part, I think he's talking about the relationship has gotten somewhere, and now she's just leaving, with a whole different goal or a whole different guy. So yeahhhh... Just another theory. |

| Kelly Clarkson – Beautiful Disaster Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I see it as a guy is messed up, he is on the edge of a breakdown, but the girl wouldn't have him any other way. Haven't really looked into it though =). |
|
| Kelly Clarkson – Where Is Your Heart Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This song reminds me of the phrase; "All talk and no bite." He says he loves her, but he hasn't proved it and she doesn't understand why not. Just another theory, haven't really looked into it that deeply. |

| Blue October – Hate Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This can be a breakup, or the mother/son relationship, some lyrics suggest one and some suggest the other. With the breakup theory, I think his girlfriend had a baby, and he left her, maybe he was afraid or maybe he had to many personal demons. But when you look at the line, "And like a baby boy I never was a man. Until I saw your blue eyes bright and I held your face in my hand." He wants things to be easy, but they arn't. I think furthermore, he may be telling the baby and his girlfriend to 'hate him'. Well that's my twisted point of view, although I support the mother/son relationship theory thing. Like many songs, it's whatever you make of it. Songs with good lyrics mean one thing to one person and another thing to another, that's what makes them so amazing. Beautiful song, makes makes me want to cry. |

| Hinder – Lips of an Angel Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| He's got a girlfriend, but he's completely into this little girl, he can't forget about her and her 'lips of an angel.' It could just be physical or something more. Either way he can't stay away. =) Beautiful song. | |
| Hinder – By The Way Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I don't really understand this song, but I love it. I guess maybe he just keeps letting girls down time after time, its always the same. They're in a fight I guess... at the end he completely changes his words around, which just confuses me more. Great song though. |

| The Spill Canvas – 3685 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This song is really worth listening too, and it never gets old. I think the fact that there is both a guy and a girl singing during the chorus shows that they both, really do feel the same about the whole situation. And the last part to me, sounds like they're trying to convince themselves of something. But that's just my twisted point of view. Great song, wicked great lyrics. |

| Between the Trees – Darlin' Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Okay, obviously this song needs some comments :). This song is sung with such strong vocals and its lyrics really touch deep. Explanation: He's falling in love with her a little more everytime he talks to her, or looks at her, or thinks about her. She's becoming a big part of his life, and he's not sure if he's okay with this. He "can't love her." He kind of always knew there was attraction, but he doesn't want to fall in love with her for whatever reason. And at the end he just sort of accepts he's falling [fast] and there is nothing he can do about it. It's gorgeous. And if you stumble upon this song (or band) by mistake. Go to their purevolume(/betweenthetrees) site to see their amazing music and hear this song. Or go to their myspace site. (/betweenthetrees). Much appreciated, they deserve more exposure than they're getting. |

| Gavin DeGraw – We Belong Together Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Yeah, I pretty much I agree with loganberry. The songs not really hard to figure out, so I don't really see the point in explaining it. "I hope you find this gift." That's something I don't understand though. Is he saying he wrote the song as a gift for someone? Or is it a line that relates to the movie? Someone explaiiin to me, I'm so awful at inturpetting lyrics. The songs kind of dark, unforgettable really. Gavin Degraw knows what he's doing. |

| Daphne Loves Derby – Midnight Highway Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The line about the summer perfume leads me to believe it was a summer romance, it's autumn now and she's gone. Pretty much the girl left him, and gave him a vague reason why, and through the song he's kind of heartbroken, because he really didn't say all he wanted to. Then at the end, he just accepts it, they weren't meant to be, so he should stop pretending. My twisted view lol. |
