Gorgeous! I didn't know this song until just recently. Think it's a fairly optimistic song, maybe about a man who's desperate for a relationship. "...Everything shines But leaves me empty still And I'll, burn this lonely house down If you run with me ..." His world is meaningless without her, "But you, turn me toward the light And you're one with me Will you run with me?" Only if she is beside him does his life have meaning. Someone I don't like "dedicated" this song to me, which gives it a creepy undertone, and ruined every feeling I might have for it. Why do people feel compelled to ruin songs for other people? |

I love this song!! "Been around the world and found That only stupid people are breeding The cretins cloning and feeding..." Reminds me of when I'm at work: My co-workers and customers are so stupid; it's SUFFOCATING me and pulling me down every day. I think it's about a breakup, probably not a very sad one either. I think he's feeling freedom and angst. I can't explain all of what it brings to mind, but it's a good song to play at work and put on max volume when I'm home alone. Good for after a day of dealing with idiots... |

Stereotypical teen song! Every teenager can relate this song to some time in their lives. Lyrics are pretty pathetic: Think about it... it's like bad teen poetry, only a bit better because it rhymes and has a catchy tune. |

I love this song; it's happy enough you can play it when you're hyper, angsty enough you can play it when you're annoyed. It took me a while to figure out what the lyrics are... I'm not reading too deep into them, it's a good song so I'll leave it at that. |

This belongs in a disney movie... when I first heard it I wondered if it was in Shrek or something. I've never seen Shrek... I've never seen the singer, but if he's hot I guess I'll watch the video... but I kinda I like my own mental video. It still seems like a silly joke of a song. I can't really say I relate to this song, it's just so silly it makes me laugh. Can't imagine playing it after a breakup... It's a "remix" of Bobby Vinton's song "Mr. Lonely", where he sings painfully slow you just want to slap him, so I sped it up to find out if that was his voice as the "chipmunk" at the beginning and other parts in this song. (I don't think it is.) It's really annoying when played for half an hour on repeat. But try playing Bobby Vinton's version instead! |
