oh and i suppose "We will run for years, We waited too long to see the promised land, We can win the war, We were standing in the promised land." refers to maybe african-americans believing in the injustice that was being done upon them because they were "standing in the promised land" (america is supposed to be free and everyone is equal)....correct me if im wrong though |

| woah Angelwing nice reference once you said that i can sort of relize it too....the whole "Our lives weave a thousand deaths upon us" and "life swinging in the breeze" thing...thats actually a really deeper meaning than i had originally thought | |

| this song is kickass with the violins- they should do more of that. but has anyone else heard the acoustic verson of it i got it on itunes (not knowing there was a non-acoustic version) and thats pretty sweet too | |

i havent heard the demo but i probably should. anyways the main music of this song is awesome like the whole slow guitar hing. it reminds me of a kid in my class who plays the guitar and he made something that reminds me of this. awesome song but it doesnt really "start" until the line "did you hear the trumpets play...." |

| geoffk your interpretation was awesome i wouldve never thought of it that way....but anyways this song is awesome i love the actual music of the song sort of reminds me of coldplay and "speed of sound" or something like that. i sort of like their new album more they seem to have lost a lot of the screamo to me but i like it | |
