| Shai Hulud – Cold Lord Quietus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
To me, this song is being "told" by a person on their deathbed, scared for their life, scared that they didn't live it righteously and as well as they would've liked to and contemplating every detail of their life. It basically seems like an attempt to try to scare people out of a rut in their lives but in an incredibly insightful way. Classy as always, Shai Hulud comes in at the end to provide a glimmer of hope: Now rest; Leave your venom behind. May we all have such strength. Brilliant. *Lyric corrections Cold Lord imparts the loss, bound with resulting reflection, deep and deprecating. |

| Death – Symbolic Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| There's nothing to dislike. If you're a decent human being you can relate to the lyrics. I get the chills every time I hear the riff to Symbolic. | |

| Shai Hulud – A Profound Hatred Of Man Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Some lyrics are wrong. These hand WOULD cleanse your soul of the lust and the greed of this world. Also, near the end before "a profound hatred of man" is said, the line goes: This hate consumes me, and it runs deep. |

Actually there's one more incorrect lyric. "Y'all might just catch me in the park playin chess, studyin math Signin 7 and a sun" Should be "shining" 7 and a sun. RZA has a gold/diamond charm and it shines A Lot. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=46855186&imageID=558519459&MyToken=054d73a4-c1c9-49bb-a3cc-0da8fa6dc0a0 |

This scorched, jet blood; it will cleanse the world. I also love the kudos to Hearts Once Nourished at the end of this song...if these hands would only kill. |

"To those that wrote the words, Though my knees become weak, I will cause my foot another step. To carry the task." That entire part is dedicated to Strongarm..."Though my knees become weak I will cause my foot another step to carry the task" is from Strongarm's song These Times That Try Men's Souls. Anyone who can appreciate Hulud will love Strongarm. |
