this is my favorite song of theirs. i love it because its sooo cute and adorable and i can imagine it being played at the end of a movie where this guy is madly in love with the girl he is dating, but she's really mean and stuff. and all the guys want her. so then at the very end of the movie this soing would be played, right after he dumped her and some girl would come right up and whisper something in his ear and then he'd put his arm around her waist and they'd walk down the school's stairs and out to his car. hahaha sorry. but i love this song and if i ever wrote a movie, i would include this song at the very end... |

oh my gosh. i am madly in love with this song! when i first heard it, the guy that i liked had made me a mix CD entitled "how i feel about you..." and the beginning was the whole garden state soundtrack and stuff, plus a little bit of jack johnson and some wilco. it was SO GOOD. plus when i first listened to it, when i heard the first blue eyes verse "blue eyes, you are all that i need" i just about died of rolling over in excitement. and the guy that i have been madly in love with for the past year, and my ex, he has the most gorgeous blue eyes!!! and he plays the guitar and sings these beautiful love songs, it would make you die! basically i am madly in love with this song because it feels like Joe is talking to me directly, singing his hidden and forbidden love for me. major props to cary brothers for this song. |
