Melatonin doesn't work in a way that makes you fall asleep like i.e. Zolpidem/ambien etc. Melatonin did nothing for me, but the general concept is that you take it at a certain time before bed every day and over time it's supposed to help you. It is not at all strong enough to knock you out or anything like that. It's a nice thought though - some of the opinions here, like the one about him taking it to see his dead friend in his dreams. It's probably accurate, idk why he'd talk about melatonin though as it doesn't work that way.. |

This song helped me get help for depression which I have suffered from for years and years, and I couldn't really care less about what it's "really" about because I think the lyrics are so strong and good that they can help people in a lot of different situations. For me, this song is about the apathy, desperation, darkness and hopelessness in depression. Wanting SO BAD to feel better, really wanting help, but not being able to ask for it or recieve any help if someone thought something was wrong. It's an intense song of being so tired of it all but still having that survival instinct that makes you not actually kill yourself, BUT you might as well have as you are not really living anyway (do you think I'm sort of alive?). Feeling like benign cancer, you know, good news/bad news. What's keeping my tongue tied? I see when you roll your eyes I swear any moment you will hear My spirit explode = frustration! |

As many others has all ready said, Rosetta Stoned continues this story. Now, this song is rather self-explainatory. In Rosetta Stoned, he starts the lyrics with "Allrighty then.. Picture this if you will.". He then starts rambling real fast about what he did, and how it (the drug) got him seing "E motherfucking T". The alien also spoke to him, telling him that he was the "chosen one, the one who'll deliver the message". In the lyrics, he talk to the doctor, such as "I can't breathe right now", "you belive me don't you? Please belive what I just said.", "It was so real, like I woke up in wonderland", "see my heart is racing, 'cause this shit never happends too me!" etc. Because of this race-talking, I belive the reason he didn't speak and so on was just simply because he had a hell of a trip. Also, when they strap him to the bed he gets fucking stressed, and in the lyrics he says "I can't remember what they said to me.. OH NO" several times. So, no wonder he was hard to talk to at first, he probably just came down from his trip or something. |

K so I'll try to make this make sense heh. BUT then again, this is probably not right, but I'll try. I think it's about prostitution, and the invirement. Blacklung coat and your little crown That's the crown that you get for falling down (blacklung might have something to do with the fact that hubs often are very smokey inside.
