For those who heard the interview with Dave, I'm really happy for you!*sarcasm* Too bad that's irrelevent in this situation. Has anyone noticed what it says above the box where you type in your meaning? It says "WHAT DOES THIS SONG MEAN TO YOU?" Emphasis on "TO YOU." Many artists, and I don't imagine Dave is any different, have said that each song has a meaning to them. However, if someone takes something different from the song, that's cool too. So for everyone getting all bent out of shape because some peoples interpretations (sp?) differ from the artists, calm the fuck down! Its not a big deal!!!!

I agree with wolf. Corey did an interview that was on the Roadrunner Records website and he did mention that the album would reflect that Scarlett has helped Corey battle alchoholism.

Alright. This song IS NOT about Corey's wife helping him battle alchoholism. I originally thought it was because in an interview Corey did, he said that the new album would reflect that. I read an interview that Corey Taylor did on the Roadrunner Records website. He talks about how the new album will reflect alot on how his wife, Scarlett, has helped him battle alchoholism. He attempted to jump off the 8th floor balcony of a hotel but Scarlett was there and managed to stop him. The phrase "Through the Glass" could mean that he's looking at himself through a mirror, wondering what he's become or it could also mean that he's looking through a drinking glass at his wife.
