i can't believe no one else has commented on this song! Josh at his forlorn and depressing best! I guess its clear what about but the way the music links the end of the verse to "but you won't see me..." is heart rending! i LOVE this song and josh! |

Live this song is so heartbreaking. Its just teddy and his guitar. It pretty obvious i guess that its about a guy leaving town and his lover doesn't care- she's too busy propping up the local bar. The last two lines are so heratbreaking, especially if youve been in a relationship for a while, you break up and they just don't care :-( |

i think it is a satire on 'normal' bland pop love songs but this person really does care for the girl/guy and is singing this jokily but with the real meaning that theres love underneath it! |

i'm not too sure about what the lyrics mean exactly but i think its saying the owrlds i beautiful and here and waiting so live your life to the full and appreciate the sky, mountains and waves etc. i love the line "our train stopped moving hours ago" as its like life has come to a standstill and we're stuck in a rut but we're here and alive on this lovely earth, lets enjoy it! |

i love this song! it was the first guillemots song i came across. don't know if anyones seen the video but its beautiful shots of nature,waves, mountains and sky in Scotland. SO lovely. When i hear the song it amkes the world seem so huge and me seem so insignificant, never fails to cheer me up! |
