great and challenging song. i dont think this one sounds right on Tripod. its definately better all acoustic on unplugged. the funeral music in the begining is interesting. yea its probably about all the mistakes they have made. its a way of saying "yea, we've done some things we regret, but its over now, and we'll pay you back sometime" kinda like what tiffiny in chains said.

another confusing song. i dont think its about rape, even tho the way he sings it make him sound like hes being raped or tourtured or something. i think it is about AIC and how the media betrayed them. another one of my favorites

im not sure about this song. it probly is about writers block and they just recorded it so layne wouldn't have to worry about it. cause the chorus says "the nothin song sticks to your mouth like peanut butter on the brain." Cool song

this is a song that is actually important to the aic legacy, its just hard to realize it. yea its a humerous ode to heroin, but thats ok, cause they were just gettin started, so they could mess around a little. well i think it was put as the last song on purpose. in the lines "im goin down the steps of the white line straight to nowhere" which was exactly was layne was going to do ever since then. i dont know if that was an accident or what. the sexual chocolate part is kinda weird, but wutever who cares.

this is probably my favorite aic song ever. its kinda hard to describe, tho. i guess it wasnt meant to have a real meaning, there are lots of them to this almost-goth song. its just a description of the pain that layne is going through. the only thing keeping this song from being gothic would be the "i dont mind the air" part, which sounds like layne trying to escape from the hell he's in. ronald reagan, i could see weird al doing a parody of this song called "angry toilet" lol good one

one of the greatest AIC songs. no duh its about heroin. most of the ones on dirt are, except rooster and maybe a couple others. throughout this song, it talks about symptoms of heroin and warns us about with the line "now you know the reasons why, can't get high or you'll die." the name of the songs important, too. it means that some people get so hooked to smack, that they let it become a priority over everything, even god, which is prooved in the last and most important line "and God's name is smack for some." yea godsmack got their name from this song, and they copy a lot of aic stuff, but i think they're not too bad of a band. but this is one of the greatest grunge song out ther, no doubt.
