An underrated piece, although I admit I got a bit testy about it too while playing Kingdom Hearts for the umpteenth time. Maybe it's just the slightly bittersweet nature of the song that summons such immature reactions, even though I've recognised it as one of those song you either grow to like or hate. |

| Rhapsody of Fire – Lamento Eroico Lyrics

Indeed, this could very well be one of the best songs Rhapsody have ever come to make. Absolutely love how in sung in italian it gives the song more of an opera feeling.
As to what it could mean, well... as it's sang in one of the verses, 'my heroic lament', it could mean a similar kind of person as in ancient writings the likes of Odyssey, Beowulf etc., who sings a song to mourn some great loss. Of course, in this case I think the person in question could also sing in order to face the soon forthcoming death. |

Sweet Jeebus, this song is godlike. Just proves that Freddie & co were able to do anything (though this one he recorded on his own). I know Freddie had his own feelings and meaning with this song but I can identify myself too well from the lyrics. |

Simply about a one way love, the other person doesn't have any true, deeper feelings for his/her loved one, while the other one stays by his/her side even though is being hurt again and again. They break up, end up back, so on, or that the hurt person ends up getting into similar relationships, wishing for love even while being abused. |

That's odd observation, IMHO song is about a guy, who is tired of the dull and grey world he lives in (aren't we all at some point?), or at least thinks life has got nothing interesting to offer him and dreams full day of his fantasy world.
"The values I should keep in high regard don't mean a thing to me"
Referring to the cycle of average person's life: education, army, job, family. Making money to consume, to buy crap you don't actually need (reminds me of Fight Club). So when he doesn't give a dangling sh!te about it he becomes parted from the society, misfit etc. "A bird without a nest".
Or it is simply about suicide:
"I was found guilty to a crime against myself."
Don't bash me just because nothing else comes to mind this second. |

Absolutely love this song, it has such a nice tune, one of the many songs you can listen again and again without getting bored of it, since it can create some nice feels. Kfe2 pretty much said it, so I can't really add anything, it means easy living. That you don't stress yourself too much with things like work, that you don't try to be so successful in life. Dreaming full-time and wishing about things you might not be capable to complish at the moment, but some "other time". |

| Helloween – I Want Out Lyrics

I first heard Sonatas cover version of this one, but its all in all really nice piece, goes second to my fav Helloween songs. I can't really explain it any better than the lyrics do, it's just about the todays' education and/or society, different people placed in a small groups at very young age and tought things that they can't probably even understand clearly yet, or things that are already clear but taught in such a narrow way, like they shouldn't think of them in any other way than they are told. And that in the end its all up to you what you want to be, your parents or school can't decide it even if they would interfere.
My first post, plus english isn't my native language, so there... |
