i think this song is really interesting... she's singing about someone who had ignored her all her life (while she was "invisible") and then as soon as she became famous, they started name-dropping and sucking up to her. it's definitely an improvement on some of her earlier stuff, although i've kinda lost respect for ashlee since she seems to be trying to make herself into jessica. |

exactly. i think it's kind of ominous, like he's going on and on about how his friends are there for him, but the hidden meaning is that their friendship is a lie. the "la la lie" part only comes in between the lines "i've got friends who / will help me pull through" meaning that even though he's saying this, it's not true. that's my interpretation. |
