this song is about a boy that died while he was in a relationship with a girl. After the boy died, she wants to die to in order to be with him. Everyone around the girl doesn't seems to like the boy ex. when he says So believe in me, believe them You think I'll let you down then towards the end of the song it shows that girl wants to die with him, which is why he says the hangman get yuor rope and "let's go outside and play william tell" he doesnt wanter her to kill herself though because hes in heaven and he seems to refrence that they wont be together |

for the most part, i agree with bex5352, but with a couple changes It's been a long day, living with this It's been a long time since I felt so sick [hes talking about his depression and how he was like a-ok for a while, but now its back and he feels awful again] I took a long walk straight back home I could have walked back to San Francisco [you know those days where your walking back from something, and you just dont wanna go home yet? maybe because home has problems and things you dont wanna deal with while just walking with yourself is peaceful. | To me this song is basically talking about a guy who he either had a relationship with or never dated at all, but he likes her a lot. Apparently she doesn’t feel the same for him. Him saying “I just wanna bring you down so badly, I the WORST way” is referring to the fact that he’s angry are her for not liking him back.
