ok just to clear some things up quickly one yes sonny was bulimic, and its possible this song is about that but the main thingm im trying to say is sonny does not write the songs travis and the other guitarist do sonny is just the frontman and now that he left they are gonna kleep writing songs but find a new frontman still fuking blows anyway the song is reallty about people who put themselves through so much pain to look good, when they end up just looking like skin and bone and blurry anyway ther song is very sarcastic |

i think that the title of the song plays intot he whole theme it may be about how the world is in such shitty shape and these people are being brainwashed by the "gov" (or whoever) into thinking that they are better off with the war and with being hungry and stuff |
